Peace Lutheran Church is a church for Arlington, we care deeply for one another and our community. We are loved by Jesus Christ,and are called to share our love with others. Our mission is to help people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. We gather for worship weekly and share in the joy of praising God in a fashion that is both historical while also meaningful and relevant for life today.
We are a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). The 2.3 million-member LCMS is a mission-oriented, Bible-based, confessional Christian denomination headquartered in St. Louis, Mo. Founded in 1847, the LCMS has more than 2.3 million baptized members in some 6,200 congregations and more than 9,000 pastors.

Interested in learning more about Peace Lutheran? This class is designed to provide all of the information necessary to make the decision whether or not to join Peace Lutheran as a member. Attending the class doesn’t obligate you to join – but is intended to answer all of your questions concerning membership and its benefits. The “Getting Acquainted” class is a one-time class (offered 2 times a year) that meets from 6:30-7:45 p.m. and covers the following topics:
- Our Story - who we are
- Our Vision & Values - why we do what we do
- Our Team - leadership and church staff
- Being Part of the Peace Family - the work and play we enjoy together
- Next Steps
- Q&A
Everyone who would like to join Peace Lutheran, must attend a “New Member” class before joining or transferring your membership from another church. Contact Pastor Craig with any questions.
